Mosin sniper clone.

I was thinking of making a sniper clone has any one here done that? I was thinking about picking up another mosin, then a repro scope and mount and bent bolt. On the host rifle Should I do a run of the mill round receiver?

Start with a rifle that you know shoots well before undertaking the project. Otherwise you may very well be wasting your hard earned money.

If you are looking to do a PU setup then go with the round receiver. If you are going the PE/PEM route then go with a hex. If I were doing it myself I would probably go with the PE setup. Take a look at Accumounts...I believe that they will have everything that you are looking for.
