I would say stick with "foster" style slugs. They are all Lead and have slanted ridges to mimic rifled barrels. very accurate in my Remy 870 18" out to 100yd

You might get away with skeet or improved cylinder but I don't want to test anything tighter than that.

You can shoot slugs through a Full Choke, no problems.

the rifling on the slug is actually to cut down on friction, of all things.

The old mossy 500 amd remmy 870 shotguns are just something everyone should have.
