Mossberg MVP in 300 BO?

So.... I kind of made an impulse purchase recently. I found a Mossberg MVP 300 Blackout on sale for $450.00 with free shipping. I've been on the hunt for a good, budget-friendly bolt-action 300 that I can suppress and still enjoy good reliability and versatility with. At that price point, I simply got click-happy. I've already got an optic and plenty of AR mags. I am both excited and apprehensive about this purchase.

So, does anyone here have any experience with this platform in 300 blackout? Any suggestions?

I guess I never realized those were offered in blackout. Will be curious to hear your thoughts on it. I like that it has irons.

Had a Ruger American was a tack driver. Should be a good shooter

Not that specific platform. but have a Mossberg in 308 and had a 243. Both were just fine, Liked the easily adjustable triggers on them. AND 300 BO is one of my favorite rounds.

I think you will really like the combination.

I have the 300 blackout in an AR platform and like it. As for the Mossberg rifles. Wife has a 243 and my son has the 6.5 CM. both mossbergs shoot pretty well. You shouldn’t have an issue with the rifle.
