A 14" barrel 870 will hold 5+1. One set up correctly is pretty effective. This one will hold federal tactical 00 to a torso of a target at 25 yards. Slugs are easy headshots at 50yards. But a short barrel rifle would be a better choice. However, there were department limitations when it was purchased 22 years ago. This was built by Scattergun Technologies in Nashville before they were purchased by Wilson Combat.
Lol!!! I get weird hairs every now and then. I like toys that really don't serve a purpose other than generating good conversation.

After doing some more research, they also make these in Remington 870. Just FYI for those that don't care the mossberg.
I believe you can buy any shotgun that has never had a stock from new and shorten the barrel. You just have to keep it over 26.5".

I'd be more worried about being hassled by Oklahoma law enforcement and/or prosecutors that know it IS illegal in the State of Oklahoma by the letter of the law.
It seems to me that if the shotguns are illegal in that configuration shouldn't AR pistols should be illegal as well?
I have asked around and none of the folks I have asked indicated it was illegal as long as it never had a stock on it. There Are ATF letters online that verify it okay to own, and possess.
