"A Connecticut Yankee In King Arthur's Court" (starring Bing Crosby) is an oldie, but it's hilarious.

Bing gets a knock on the head and wakes up during the reign of King Arthur. He knows a lot of modern stuff, and they think he's a wizard.

Remembering one scene with a strike-anywhere match still makes me smile.

Good old Bing. Father of the year material, for sure.

"Evil Dead" is a good one too.

I’m watching Apollo 13 on tv right now. I remember the actual event.
I’ve seen the movie many times and I’m always on the edge of my seat wondering what’s gonna happen.
Must be a pretty good movie.

How about a double feature of Airplane! and Zero Hour, the drama upon which Airplane! was based? Several years ago, TCM ran them back to back, and, amazingly enough, Airplane! is an almost beat-for-beat remake of Zero Hour, including most of the plot and large chunks of dialogue, and both are really good movies.

Last night I watched "THE SPY WHO CAME IN FROM THE COLD" (1965) on Amazon Prime. I watch a lot of old movies but I had never seen this one.

It is a Cold War spy movie starring Richard Burton. I recommend it if you're into these type of films.
