Just wondering if anyone here lives in the panhandle, or knows someone who lives in the panhandle, who would be willing to lease some land out for a weekend for some mule deer hunting.
You probably know this but just making sure - you realize it has to be during deer season, and you can harvest bucks only - no mulie does may be taken. That is still the rule, correct?
there are wmas out there that have mule deer on them..
I've heard rumors that Ellis County WMA has mulies on it.
I however think that mulies (like sasquatch and the g spot) are myths.
By the way, there's mulies & hybrids farther in than just the panhandle. My buddy shot a hybrid on his Harper County lease. Yes, it's Kansas-adjacent, but in from the panhandle. Dunno whether they come on in to Woods County, etc....
I have seen mulies on private land in Ellis county, but a hunter with poor ethics ruined that spot for us.

Killing out of season?
Discharging firearms from the truck. The landowner thought it was our group and ran us off. I saw the guy who did it and drove all over Shattuck looking for him, but thankfully I never found him. If I had, I'd be using the prison library computer right now.
