Hi All.

After a bit of a search I purchased a small boat, I think??!!!

After watching AL boats jump almost 4000 dollars this week. I figured it isn't going to get any better soon, eventually but not soon.

Unless we can haggle a bit, I still think it's a bit high, but with the condition I think it's worth it.

Only price deal I guess will be if the motor doesn't run.

Fellow Old Guy won't sell it to me until he shows me that the motor works!

Oh for the love of old school, such a pleasure to deal with!

It's local, in amazing shape and registered till '26, Barn kept until the last 2 years.

1964 Starcraft 14' aluminum four seat with trailer.

With1967 Evinrude Fastwin electric start 18 hp. motor.

Oars, anchor, gas tank, battery, spare tire, gas tank.

I have some projects in my mind, but I can at least get on the water now. Hmm, empty seat may be open???!!

Slowly but surely I will try and document this journey!!!!

Will try and figure out pictures, Hang on. The process here is ok but my phone won't "Export" ????????

Take pic with phone. Tap on write reply and then attach files. The software will automatically take you to your photos. Tap on the little circle on the pic and then ‘add’ in the top right corner. It will bring up a thumbnail pic. Tap on insert and choose full image. The post reply in bottom right corner

This part is no problem.
My phone won't or don't send my pics to the area that the attach files box takes you to
You must be doing everything on your phone.
I use a laptop cause I can't see the little phone screen very well.
So, doing work here, pic is on phone, they won't talk to each other "cable attached"
I have done it before, so I guess I'll ask the kid again.

A boat is a hole in the water you throw money into. But there are worse things you can do than fixing up and using an old boat. 🤑

That's me being green with envy. Looks like I'm spending all my "spare" money on repairing the transmission in my van. Think of me while you're out there on the water!
