My grandpa left the same boat on the bank of a farm pond for at least 25 years. No idea how many grass fires it went through, but it was a lot more than boats were intended to be exposed to. My older brother asked for it, got it, rebuilt the transom and painted it. That’s it. Never leaked and safely ferried us on many good duck/goose hunts. I don’t know squat about boats, but yours makes me smile. I hope you enjoy the hell out of it.

My dad has a very similar boat. Was his dad’s boat. I pulled the old 18 off ( no electric start) and put on a much newer 15 with electric start. It’s a great boat.
