What makes me want to puke about Berman, is that he thinks he's so damn clever. He and his "Bermanisms" are so played out.
Yep, he was interesting about ten years ago but his shtick is worn out now. They need to get rid of these idiots and get more guys in there that understand football, like Aikman.
Good point. Aikman was awful when he first started. He was boring, and monotone. However, he took the time to work on his craft, prepared better, and is now ranked the #1 analyst crew in the NFL (with that tool bag, Joe Buck, but I digress). He adds perspective that the rest of these morons can't. That's why I like Herbstreit. Sure, part of me hates him because my wife oohs and awes about him, but the guy is great at what he does. I also think that Trent Dilfer does a nice job as an analyst for ESPN.

You are right about Dilfer, he is pretty good. In fact I would like to see some more of the ESPN cast of former NFL players instead of all the old worn out wanna be guys we complain about. One more you forgot off the top of my head is Lee Corso, he was better before he started doing goofy stuff with mascot heads and the like. As for Holtz, I NEVER liked him but his speech is kind of slurred now and he is unwatchable.
Joe Buck's biggest fan is Joe Buck. He just KNOWS he's the smartest guy in the room.
