I too have been playing around a bit with some kydex.. pretty inexpensive if you have just the basic stuff laying around.

This was only my 3rd holster and it took me about an hour to complete, with nothing more than a utility knife a dremel tool and a drill...

Looks like .08 Kydex. I personally order from a knife makers supply. Its pretty resonable (~$9-12 @ 1ft^2).

I used .093 on the holster and .080 for the mag....
