What spring kit did you end up going with? I’ve got the same piece and was wanting to lighten the trigger as well.
I put in the Wolff J-Frame 9lb hammer spring and the Wolf 11 lb rebound spring... I also polished most of the internal parts and the internal frame to a smooth glass feel finish and am generous with the grease and oil...
This reduces the trigger pull weight by around 50%...

The .22 mag is designed for a rifle length firearm.
I've done chronograph studies of the round in 2" Davis derringers that showed 900 fps.
It doesn't matter what firearm it's shot from, it's the length of the barrel that will determine the velocity because of the powder used which is designed for a rifle.
That being said, my cousin's wife has carpal tunnel in her wrists, so any round is better than no round at all, and I don't want to be shot with one.
My NAA Mini pushes 1100fps in WMR with some ammo, more like 1000fps with others. Velocity depends also upon chamber dimensions and ammunition. The Mini is close to standard LR velocity from a rifle, while my old Smith snubbie kit gun averaged 925fps with LR hi-vel....personally, the shortest I go with for handgun use of WMR is my 6.5" Single Six which clocks in excess of 1400fps and still expands on water jugs at 50yds with Super-X while CCI MaxiMags with harder plated HP pencils thru at any range from same gun.
