Picked it up at a tag sale and was bored for the weekend.

I love finding and restoring vises. My most recent was a C. Parker 22x from somewhere between 1899-1920. Picked it up at an estate sale for 80 bucks and couldn't be happier. Literally just needed a touch up on grease and paint --- otherwise it was smooth as silk. Missed a few at an auction a while back that wifey assures me I didn't need anyways, but they were the old school Wiltons that needed a little TLC. I just didn't want to drive all the way out to Guthrie for them.

I have the 3-1/2" Craftsman bench vise, a no-name post vice, which may have been handmade, and the hulk of a Chinese 6" bench vise I picked up for $5. Needs a bit of welding & TLC, or melted down and recast into something useful. I figured it would be good practice, and I've started in on it a couple times, only to get interrupted by more important projects.

Got some of my workshop space back earlier this week, moving tools and machines back in so I can maybe do something with them. And I can sort of see Dad's welder in the back room!
