10 year Airdale here. Made Med cruise on a Destroyer and the Red Sea. Then made another on a Cruiser eating jp5 sitting in the aft delta of the George Washington. Heliocopters rock. Earned my Enlisted Avation Warefare Specialist(EAWS) on my first cruise.

Just got my first letter from him. he seems to be in good spirits. says its cold as you know what right now. Oklahoma boy isn't used to it staying cold. He says his training doesn't kick off until Dec 28. graduation date is in February. Damn proud of my boy!
