I tried to get The Wife and The Boy to watch it with me. It is so slow... holy crap.

Supposed to be one of the greatest sci-fi movies of all time. I couldn't even finish it myself. Maybe back in the day, but not now. Sorry.

When I said this and that I didn't like Arlington Road, I was accused of being a troll on the old IMDb message boards. After all, they said, how could anyone not just like but just absolutely love this masterpiece? Ergo, I was a troll.

I dunno guys, you gotta admit it was purty cool when the smart monkey figured out he could smash and destroy stuff much better, much more efficiently, with a club than without. I think that was probably an enemy ape femur eh?

Not necessarily. I like Bronson, but 2001: ASO's main problem was the glacial pace. A plot helps as well.

That movie was an ethereal delight visually but it was slower than a snail on a greased rock. 2010 was a little better but not much.

Never was a fan of that movie. As far as 70s strange sci-fi movies I much preferred Silent Running.

To this day, "Silent Running" is on my Top Ten list.

I got the DVD of Silent Running. I guess I'll have to watch it now. I have 2010 also but, not bored enough to watch it.
