NASCAR bans AR-15 ads

I like the old NASCAR stuff ...cars looked like the ones you could go buy.



Could you imagine the viewers that would go watch 40 of these old cars battle it out today with the old school BB engines.
I love seeing old iron going down the road.
And the above is not really Old iron

The local dirt tracks have a lot of old iron out there

Haven't watched much lately, but I don't remember seeing any ads for AR-15's anyway. Maybe NASCAR was jumping on a boat that really turned out to be a raft built by Gilligan......

I remember Remington sponsoring Dale Sr. and Dale Jr. at one time, probably wouldn't be allowed to sponsor any teams now.

She retired a couple years ago.

I don’t remember seeing any gun ads ever

Glock, Daniel Defense, Remington sponsored cars. I think there were some others, but they escape me before my second cup of coffee. When Texas Motor Speedway and NASCAR said no more pistols firing after that race, the writing was on the wall. And that has been several years ago. Even baseball has better ratings than the short bus drivers.
