I purchased this rifle about 15 years ago and it has been residing in the safe for that long. Just recently extracted it from back of safe and thought I would query OK Shooters if they could provide any data regarding this weapon. Any info would be helpful. Thanks

You have a sporterized SMLE No 1 Mark III* made in Lithgow, Australia. It had Factory Thorough Repair done in 1952 it looks like. They are nice rifles, originally chambered in .303.
