Interesting they talk about setting their rifles at minimum headspace. While I doubt they are "lying" this was not my experience. My remington tactical IS at minimum, and I mean minimum. An rcbs shellplate mixed with a lee fl sizer will actually put brass within +/- 0.0005" of the headspace of my remmy's chamber, even with the shellplate bottoming out on the die. It took some trial to find this mis-match combo.

However, the brass I had from my old 12fv is about 0.002" longer headspace than that.

This isn't a complaint, though. My savage shot great. My guess is it's probably a design choice to make sure it functions easily with all types of factory ammo.
