I built a wooden framed, with the back slope made of 1/8" steel plate. Left an over hang on top and
Bottom on the front face. Can use clips for targets on the top one,, bottom leaves about 1 1/2"
Pan, that I filled with sand. Adds some stability, and catches pellets. It is 24" wide, wide enough
For two 12 x 12 targets. Works great in the back yard. Great fun, no travel time to range, and cheap

Well I went to Wal Mart, Atwood's, and Academy Sports,,,
Seems like I am a bit late for this season's selection,,,
Most of the stores were almost sold out.

Atwood's did have a .22 caliber break-barrel priced at $99.00,,,
It was on sale for 25% off but I still didn't buy it,,,
I think .177 caliber will suit me better.

Like I said,,,
I'm in no hurry at all.

Maybe something will show up in the after Christmas sales.

I was at a dreaded Wally World day before yesterday in MWC. I have to say it was the most squared away sporting goods section I seen in 35+ years, especially compared to the junk ones here and around Edmond. Back on topic I saw a pellet gun that looks like a Henry Golden boy that advertised 800 fps. I wish I had more time to look at it but I’ll try to get back there soon when I have time. And if the price was correct I think under 50 bucks. You could cowboy and Indians along with your army men and alternate time periods👍

I saw that same one,,,
It did look cool as all heck,,,
But the box said it was a multi-pump.

I remember having a multi-pump as a kid...
I was always envious of those break-barreled rifles other kids had.

Mine was a .22 Cal Crossman,,,
You could actually take small game with it,,,
But as a fun plinker it was a lot of effort and took too long.

In my old age,,,
Simplicity is the desired thing.

Take a look @ Crosman, I have a 2240 with an 18" barrel, steel breach and shoulder stock. Best rat controller ever and almost silent.
