Just do what I did with 9mm.
Start with the minimum RedDot load, keep decreasing the powder charge, making certain the bullet clears the barrel. Do that until the slide won't cycle. Then bump it up a few tenths.
I have a RedDot load that drops the brass in a pile right beside my right foot.
I have one of those for 147gr 9mm, the only gun it works well in is a glock 26, literally drops the brass at your feet.
The 165gr hst will likely be warm in 10mm i figure golddot data will be a good place to experiment.
