Need help identifying this shotgun

A buddy of mine just received this shotgun. It was his grandfather's. Can anyone provide any info on this weapon. Keep our sell? No real sentimental value.

That's what I was going to say.

München is German for Munich, so I googled Munich gunmakers and came up with this.

Affixing an appropriate butt plate would be an easy fix for a competent stock-maker or gunsmith. No way I would let that beauty out of the family..
