Need messanger bag suggestions

Im lookung for a new EDC and was looking at the Maxpedition messangerbags. I would like to stay with a messanger bag instead of a backpack due to work.

I love the one from ITS Tactical, but there is no way that I am willing to pay $350 for a bag. They are completely sold out though so people must really like them

I've got about six Osprey courier bags. I use them as range bags. Holds 1 or 2 pistols, bunch of magazines, holster & mag pouches with room for ammo and a water bottle. Ideal for IDPA, or just keeping all the gear for a specific gun together.
