I drove 60 miles to Lexington in 17 degree weather to test a load for my .223 60 gr V-max and Varget.
Shot excellent with one load.
Guess what happened when temps got to 58 degrees.
I hate Varget as it has not proven temp stable at all for me.
May be stable as in velocity but accuracy it is not.
H4895 kept the accuracy in different temps for my .223 and IMR 4064 kept accuracy in different temps for me in my .308 and 30-06
when Varget could not.
