Just got this new holster in the mail today; a Kramer Leather Belt Scabbard (Pancake Rig) in Horsehide for my Colt Commander. These are tough holsters, horsehide is denser than cowhide and it's supposedly more sweat resistant. I've bought other holsters from Kramer in the past, and as usual, I am not at all disappointed. It's a workin' man's rig! I'll tell you what; Greg Kramer makes them strong, they will hold up to serious heavy duty use. This thing will outlive me! One thing about horsehide though; it's not as "workable" as cowhide so the details in the molding don't show as much as in a Milt Sparks, a Nightingale Leather, or a Mitch Rosen holster maybe, but for sheer durability, Kramer has them all beat. I'll post a pic of my Nightingale Griffon IV OWB for comparison. The Nightingale is one of the prettiest holsters I have and it will no doubt last a lifetime as well, but I had to have another Kramer for this pistol too. I just like nice holsters!
