new memo about using drones on US citizens

Yep...we saw how quickly much of the media was realy to label gun owners as "gun nuts."
Doesn't take a stretch of the imagination for them to call us "domestic terrorists."

People don't care about drone attacks, they are too glued in to daily distractions. People here on the board mock for months about some of us being worried about drones, just go about in ignorance.

Here is another article, good read, about drone use abroad, and numerous civilians killed while killing "suspected terrorists." long article so I didn't copy and paste.

This is awful! Seriously, you just happen to be by some bad guys and that justifies you, your wife, or kids getting blown to bits, for American Safety? This is NOT worth it, we WILL have a price to pay for these actions. Innocent people are being killed everyday by these drone strikes and it's awful! And now they can do it to even American Citizens! Where is the OUTRAGE?!?

"If monitoring the American people via drone saves the life of just one person, then it's worth it."

I can hear that already.

I can also hear something to the tune of, "If you're not breaking any laws, then you won't mind if we do air surveillance of your home and property."

We already allow law enforcement to set up road blocks.

I know I was grateful to the Highway Patrol for allowing me to show them on three different occasions that I had a valid drivers licence and insurance and tag.

Too bad they couldn't have checked on the two people who ran into me while drunk who had none of the above.

Drones are cheap, can cover more area in more detail than a patrol car for less money, and will be the wave of the future.
