...and it still shoots great
I think I just got you several thousand words...I believe.1 picture says a thousand words i believe.
+1. 22 Creedmoor and 6mm Creedmoor would’ve made a lot more sense in this day and age
@Jcann pretty much nailed it. Both cartridges take advantage of modern bullet tech. For a few 100 fps? There is a whole lot of discussion on SH about what twist to use.
The .224, .243 WSSM whups them all.
I love the advantages heavy for caliber cartridges give the shooter. Being able to shoot a 95 grain bullet out of a 22 Creedmoor at 3,200 fps just opens up so many more doors. I assume one could also shoot a 52 grain bullet in a 1:7 barrel at 3700 fps without twisting it apart as it exits the barrel.@Jcann pretty much nailed it. Both cartridges take advantage of modern bullet tech.
Honestly as much as I appreciate the advances that have been made in cartridges, bullets and firearms I’m a dinosaur myself. I’m just not into these newfangled cartridges. I like history and tradition and I gravitate towards cartridges and platforms that either are vintage and old tech or resemble those things.
Any input on additional caliber conversion kits availability, cost???It's obviously following the lines of the Q Fix and their knockoff the Sig Cross, but it looks like Larue did it right. Whole bunch more pics at the link.
