I’m not one to insult anyone. I’m simply saying I have been keeping up and didn’t know of any in the wild. I’d just like to see if it’s true. I don’t think my post was insulting at all. We’ve been around here long enough that I would think you would understand why I said what I said.lol,, idgaf if anyone believes me. I can tell you this gent has one, and if you ever get a chance to own or fondle one you should.
when did this place become a place to compare peters. Good grief. Insulting Somone's integrity on the internet. woo hoo.
They’re pretty neat. Mark actually got one out a day early for me so I could have one dated on my sons 8th birthday. Since all my guns will go to him anyways.
Just a bit of info. Most factory 243 and 22-250 barrels are twisted 1:10 and 1:14 respectively. Therefore, stabilizing the heavier and longer ELD-X, ELD-M, and the assorted VLD bullets will be difficult if not impossible in most situations. Hence the reason behind the 6mm and 22 Creedmoor. These were created to specifically shoot these type bullets with barrels properly chambered and twisted to shoot the heaviest weight bullets offered. Heavier bullets generally have higher ballistic coefficients (BC) meaning less drag and flatter trajectory with less drift. That’s why they are popular in the long range shooting community. The Creedmore cartridge doesnt do anything a good 243 or Remington 260 can do. It was marketing crap. The 22-250 is a fine varmint cartridge and can be loaded up too 220 swift Velocity and cartridges for them can be made out of any 308 base cartridge. The Bolt action and bolt face for the 22-250 can be used for a whole bunch of good cartridges. Easy to make a switch bbl rifle with many chamberings, fast and easy. I have had several over the counter Bull BBl rifles that could shoot .325" with good cases and bullets. Most people dont realize how important the CASE is. The necks on most US made brass is not even and unless you take off a little from the high side you will never get the ragged one groups. If you take to much brass off the neck then you will have split necks in a factory speck chamber. Lapua brass shrunk my groups better than any powder, bullet or primer change.
I’d love to see it. I’m a pretty big LaRue fan and I’m pretty sure there aren’t any Siete’s out in the wild unless you personally know Mark
Eat crow FFI don’t wanna call anyone a liar and I’ll be the first to eat crow, but if someone says they have a Siete that has never been released to the public, I’d like to see proof.
