Hello, all! I’ve been a member for a little over a year and have enjoyed reading and learning from everyone. Wanted to introduce myself!

My name is Dillon and I’ve been an avid shooter for over 20 years. The first firearm I ever purchased for myself was a Springfield 1911? What was your first firearm purchase?

My first "real" gun was a .22 pellet rifle ... J.C. Higgins TED Williams model that took two CO2 cylinders. My parents got me that because they didn't think I was ready for a "real" gun, i.e. a .22 rimfire. Little did they know that rifle hit as hard as a .22 rimfire when loaded with two cylinders. I took many a rabbit with it, and often shot it with only one cylinder (to save money). I guess my first "real" gun was a .410 single shot and, yes, I still have it. In fact, I still have both of those.
