I’ve never used thermal. Why mount it so far rearward? Honest question
scope mounting so rearward was where the eye relief rolled in, looks funky but shoulders perfect. magpul stock is adjustable for cheek weld, forgot to ad the stock is magpul x22; lots of storage under the cheek rest for extra mag and lots of ammo; and hand grip has storage for an extra battery; wish they made one for regular 10/22, i would have already bought two. as far as what ima gonna do with it? secondary use is make mistakes like coon #8 in my attic i haven't found yet. afraid scene from breaking bad gonna manifest.
Next you will have to replace that steel buffer pin as it will be the loudest thing in the rifle.
* cheap suggestion... If you don't want to buy the $13 Volquartsen buffer pin, you can cut a nylon bolt down ($0.25 each). Mine has run for hundreds of rounds as so far.
