There are certain firearms that are exempt from the nfa, pre ww2 pistols with original butt stocks come to mind. there are are many others.
I was wondering what NFA type weapons there were that do not require the tax or to be registered .
How would I know if a weapon is "borderline NFA " not needing the $200 tax or the registration? I guess I mean almost NFA but not being NFA. Hope that helps to clarifying my question.
Been looking for the answers and after 6 hours of sitting here I could not find the answer. It's not really borderline, It's a nfa weapon or not, just do your research.
