I bought this at Walmart on a whim. It has turned out to be a pretty good little knife. There's no wiggle whatsoever, locks up tight, and has a nice spring assist, and it was only $5.97.

Dang that’s cheap! I like beater knives like that. Just trash them and no worries. Go ahead and cut that baitfish up against a rough river rock, use that tip to pry, baton it through things, etc lol

Price is right. Is blade marked as to the steel used or how's the edge out of the box and have you tried sharpening?
I am the most consistent person you will ever find at sharpening a knife. It does not matter what I use, how expensive the sharpener is, I always get the same result "Butter Knives".
It does not have any markings on the blade of what type of metal it is and I can't find the packaging I'm assuming not very good quality but for the price I couldn't pass it up.
