Norinco vs Norinco Poly

Is there a difference between a rifle that is a Norinco or a Norinco Poly?

I am wanting to list for sale an SKS, It's a Nornico Poly.....is that a Polytech? I just want to get my info straight before listing...I've done a google search and I still am not sure.

I've been divorced from SKS's for a long time. It was an ugly parting. However, I seem to recall that Norinco Poly was not Polytech. Poly USA was the US trading partner of Polytech in China. Norinco is not actually not a manufacturer, but more like a holding company for many industries, which include the manufacture of weapons. I believe Polytech is a manufacturer.

Anyway, unless you know for sure, I wouldn't advertise it as a Polytech. Is there an importer indicated on the rifle?
