Whats the going prices for this ammo? I found a few boxes stashed away and no longer have anything to shoot it with. I found a website selling it for $25 a box not looking to make a killing on it and would probably prefer to trade it off but want to make sure I value at a fair amount.

Is there anyway to tell? I know the jacket its self attracts a magnet on those rounds so how do you know if it is or isn't steel core? Ive seen some boxes that say steel core and some that dont but people claim it is steel core even if the box doesnt say so.

There's a lot of info on the web about this and most of it is conflicting. It seems the only 100% way to know is to pull one of the bullets and look at the base for the steel core.

I've also seen reports where the box says steel core but the ammo is actually lead core. (This could be due to dishonest sellers switching it out or refilling empty boxes to make a buck.)
