I wasn't a little kid in Oklahoma. I grew up in Indiana. In the summertime there we had mosquito fogger trucks drive through the neighborhood blowing whatever poison that was through the air. We'd follow it on our bicycles getting eye and lung fulls of it. We were stupid.

edit- this wasn't from any pic I had. My wife saw this on another site and texted it to me asking if I remembered this from my childhood.

Not that long ago (from my perspective) back in the late 80s we had this critter that was wiping out the citrus crops called a Med Fly. If you had citrus trees in your yard they’d place traps in them and at night a squadron of helicopters flew over spraying little pellets covering an entire city/county. Stuff was none to kind on the paint job of your car.
