Sometimes I wonder if some of those posting on OSA are just a bunch of fat 12 year olds on mommy’s computer stuffing hot pockets into their faces. It’s like they can’t help themselves. They won’t meet up in person, they won’t post their real names, and they certainly won’t post a current pic. Just sad amateur comedians trying to be relevant for their own jollies. A lot of Boomers should have used more birth control it seems.

I don’t think it’s as much of the who hired/why/etc as it is a larger picture of the way things swing back and forth. Kinda like global warming. It’s not climate change, it’s just the cyclic warming and cooling of the earth. In the 80s or 90s we had all the “knowledgeable people” talking about how global cooling was gonna create an ice age, now it’s the same sorta folks screaming that global warming is gonna kill us all. Romantization of socialism and forced equality (or utopia) is a luxury afforded only to those who are in a society of prosperity and excess. This idealistic daydreaming can be applied to conservativism or religious ideology can be inserted as well. Like G. Michael Hopf said in one of his books: Hard times create strong men, strong men create good times, good times create weak men, and weak men create hard times.

Leftist radicals bent on creating a socialist society. Some are still out there.
Two of them helped a little known mulatto gain the Presidency of this country that turned into the third worst president in our country’s history.
