Its all relative...I was at a house last night that was $22M to build. The owner's Monthly nut on that single property is likely $25K (plus house payment if he has one) and once you add in his Family expenses and what they consider basics, I bet his Monthly approaches $60K plus house payment.

In essence, if everything he has is paid off he needs to make $1M annually just to float.

Our economy sucks. It’s hard out here for young families. A young family with a household income of $40-$50k can make it work though. Being able to qualify for soonercare free health insurance for the kids, reduced school lunches, summer WIC program, etc…. I know that us “right wingers” hate these socialists handouts but they really do help working class families
I agree that these programs are a godsend to some families. However, as the poor economic choices our government continues to make, it’s only for a way for them to legitimize their poor choices. We need a more positive way to bring the people needing these programs up in the world.

I miss senator Coburn, he would publish a list of waist-full government programs for all to see. If the government could run things like people on a budget have to live on we would not have the level of inflation we are experiencing. It is higher than they are reporting. Election year white wash. I saw 25% of the value of my ira and retirement savings go away when Joe started work 4 years ago, still not back to the level it was when he started to build back better. When the government starts to buy your vote with your money look out. I see that the movie idiocracy “spelling?” becoming believable.

Lankford has continued Colburns list of federal waste. His “Federal Fumbles” regular reports highlight federal waste

The world’s best budgeting app is FREE! If people actually cared about their finances they would get on a budget pay off debt and live with in their means.

Personally I believe social insecurity is way behind actual cost of living. The situation is pitiful. One reason is a married woman can't draw her full social insecurity check. Only half it would help older folks greatly if married women were treated equally. Laws are wayyy behind the times.
The problem with Social Security is that they base their cost of living increases on the price of things older people generally don't use. For instance the cost of food is not included in the calculation.
