208 years ago today Francis Scott Key saw the flag still flying over Ft McHenry after a relentless, overnight bombardment by British warships. He was inspired to write what became our national anthem.

And today we have scum burning the flag in the streets. So many people have no knowledge or appreciation of the price our forefathers paid for their freedoms.

Some reporter was asking young people on the street awhile back who wrote the National Anthem and they couldn't answer correctly. I remember songs we sang in school when I was a kid, "Battle Hymn of The Republic, Church In The Vale, His Truth Is Marching On, Who Built The Ark" and many other religious songs.
They literally destroyed us kids with patriotism and I haven't gotten over it yet!

Destroyed YOU with patriotism? I hate to be the one to tell you this, but, patriotism, Vietnam, religion, schools, or the tooth fairy, didn't cause to to be a no good BUM, being a SPOILED BRAT did! I would guess you parents indulged you, with good intentions, to give you the things they never had, or even our affluent society, could have done it! We are so affluent even our poor people are SPOILED BRATS, that care for no one, or nothing but themselves, and what they want, especially the parents, or society, that spoiled them! So you through your temper trantrims in public, to try and embarrass someone into giving you your way, and wallow in self pity,. but I don't want to hear about it! GROW UP MAN!
