This is the scariest thing about the future of gun control, this president is showing that he is perfectly willing to just ignore laws or make them up on his own if he can't have his way with congress. Hopefully the courts would step in if he over steps his bounds and tries to enact gun control without congress, but how long would that take? The courts aren't always sticklers for the constitution either. I'm not big on conspiracy theories, but it's no theory that this president has no regard for the constitution or the law. He may just try to regulate the gun or ammo industry right out of business.

If the government does not follow the rules then why should we that place is nothing but a staph infection.

"The government is the potent omnipresent teacher. For good or ill it teaches the whole people by its example. Crime is contagious. If the government becomes a lawbreaker, it breeds contempt for law; it invites every man to become a law unto himself; it invites anarchy. To declare that the end justifies the means -- to declare that the government may commit crimes -- would bring terrible retribution."

At this point, no nation is dumb enough to buy our continual debt. China no longer purchases our bonds. The Fed has to exchange printing money now for loans/property rights on all the leveraged real estate in America from the banks. There isn't really much of anywhere left to go with the debt. Who is going to be dumb enough to buy more US debt ?

One very smart financial guy I've listened to for years said that the beginning of the end is when the Fed has to book it's own debt on it's own balance sheet. This has already been happening for the past couple years. He now says you know it's all over when the Fed wants to print money and exchange for gold. If you ever hear that kind of talk, it's time to run for the hills and get as far away as you can from the US Dollar.

Read the US Constitution, Article 14, Section 4.

Congress appropriates the money, not the President.

If Congress doesn't raise the debt ceiling, or cut appropriations what would you do to avoid violating Article 14, Section 4?
