Get your Jeep and we will meet ya in Colorado this Summer. You would be in trouble on the Puppy! She might not let you have a Jeep if she catches wind of this.

My wife loves to hike and our dogs love to go too, but unfortunately an old injury prevents me from doing much of that these days so now she goes out with some of her girl friends when they can manage to coordinate their schedules. The last big hike we did together was in the Tetons. It was beautiful and provided a lot of great memories but that was years ago and there's no way I could do it now.

Hey I confess, my wife can and does out hike me! Knees, Hips and one ankle replaced slowed me down some. That is why we do a lot of Jeep’ing! After a Rib Surgery we did over 1800 miles in Colorado in the Tundra off road. Went on easy stuff, Engineer, Cinnamon, Poughkeepsie Gultch.

I’ve been all over Colorado on the pavement and all off pavement (BDR). Also all over Alaska. I go on 2 wheels though.

Have a 1994 Wrangler to pull behind the RV but have never gone off roading with it yet.....however....we have done some pretty serious motorcycle touring. Every year before retirement we would take a 3-week trip on the Goldwing. Glorious times. Still have the bike but have dialed back the long trips. Here is a map that we would document our routes. Each color was a different year.

I’ve done Alaska on a Goldwing. To the Artic Circle. I have owned BMWs but not Dual Sports. Mine were Honda XR650s and Suzuki DR650s. But never in Alaska. I would have enjoyed Alaska on my K75 too.

For the past few years I've been going to southfork, CO w/a 4 wheeler. I love it.

Not me but my son and his group. He lives in Black Canyon City AZ and about every weekend they are out headed to the lake or Crown King or something. He sold his razor and bought two Suzukis. One for the roads and one for the back woods areas.

Their group is family oriented and they are spaced all over the state so they have a lot of adventure time.

So far my favorite trails are west towards Pagosa at park trails (I think that's the name) right off the highway.

Any ya’ll enjoy/partake? We do enjoy it and Motorcycle Touring. Everything from mostly stock Jeep to rear steer one tons. We are old now so some what normal Jeep. Winch, Gears, lockers. My Tundra is built. But we enjoy Jeep more and it is easy to tow. What do some you use? If you do.

My wife, and I, and two other couples, picking buddies, went to Creede Colorado a few years ago, and stayed in the Snow Shoe Lodge, owned by another picking buddy. We have a Jeep Wrangler, so we decided to try out some of the many off road trails in that area. We were both in our late 60's, but we had a ball, my wife surprised me, and liked this as much as I did! The scenery is fantastic, and lots of old west, and mining, history! Some of the trails around Creede, go to the continental divide! We had to drive this Wrangle home, so we did have to turn around a couple of times, to prevent possable damage! This Jeep preformed like a champ, and would have handled these rough places, but I couldn't risk it! ! We made this an annual event for several years. We thought about buying a new Wrangler this years, until we priced them. $48.000.00 sticker for a Sport model, like we have. This 2010 Wrangler, with 140,000 miles looked pretty good after that! Our favorite vehicle that we have ever owned!
