State of Ohio just cancelled school for the next 3 weeks. WTH?

Ignorance can be fixed through education, stupid can never be fixed.
Cancelling stuff seems stupid, but it's working in Wuhan - the virus epicenter. Quarantined the whole city to their homes and now they've been able to close all the temporary hospitals and cases are in decline. You want to end the spread of it, don't be around people.
My son said at school today they were asking all the kids what their internet access was like at home...

Following the quarantine guidelines. It'll be a pain for some families but everyone will be better off in the long run.

Hopefully this will mean online learning will be more available in the future for those who wish to participate.
My wife was told to get her Google classroom ready. My oldest is a senior at OSU and they're going online after the break too.

OU is going online for two weeks after Spring Break, as well.
Imagine teaching a real course when all your students can cheat.
