I just noticed yesterday my little apple trees have blossoms. Apparently some stressors (like drought) may cause this. Most say it's not a big deal...and these are very young trees anyway. Just odd...

Common name is the Locust Month. The largest native moth in North America. We got watch one from start to finish outside my living room window. Cocooned up July 24, 2018 did not emerge until May 25, 2019

This met me coming out of the stairwell in my parking garage. Not sure if it’s an infant or adult missing all the feathers.

It’s about the size of a softball. A little bigger, maybe half a football.
