^^^^^^^^ Saw a place like that along the Verdigris River when I was a kid fishing with my dad. Minus the register sign.

Ha. Register sign is in near a trail head in a national forest wilderness area (not at the house), supposedly for people to register if they're going to be camping so a ranger will know who's in there for safety reasons. It didn't appear to have been used for that in a while, tho. Mostly names/stories carved into it, one I remember had a date and something along the lines of "at 4 am the water rose above our tents. at 8pm we made it back cold. wet. tired. alive. we had a full day!"

House is in Arkansas. Up the road from it is an old barn built of the same style/era and people are living in it. Houses like that all over the hills, and sadly most of them are falling down. Some of the toughest people to ever walk the earth settled the Ozarks. Rock farmers.

The First one is from Memorial Day Weekend at Floral Haven Cemetery last year. The second one is from the very end of the night airshow and fireworks show in Oshkosh, WI 2011, and the third is from earlier in the show. It is NOT photoshopped or altered in ANY way. Does anyone see a strange image in the smoke?
