They'll be at the zoo today.
Yep. And if they pull it off, I don't have much confidence of it being defeated in an election. Oklahoma, Tulsa and Cleveland counties have plenty of voters to ride herd over the rest of the state as long as they can get them to turn out.Yes. If they get the required signatures in time, implementation of constitutional carry will be delayed until after the state wide vote.
Over 59k valid signatures from registered voters by next Thursday? Think they can pull it off? Their main focus is OKC and Tulsa. They just might do it. Lots of urbanites who are terrified of guns in those metro areas.
65% of our state population lives in 6 counties in and around Tulsa and OKC. This wont bide well in a vote.If they get it on the ballot, I suspect OKC and Tulsa would be the only places that would vote for repeal. My impression were those were about the only representatives that voted against it in the first place.
But I doubt they even get it on the ballot.
Sure glad I went ahead and renewed my license last year. Like I said back then just in case and until this is all sorted out.
I considered plagiarizing @druryj 's post above and just changing a few words with synonyms to avoid copyright infringement. But ultimately, I was too lazy to do even that. So I just "liked" it.
