Basically, what some of you are saying is it would be OK if the cop had just shot the ASIAN dude. Deadly force is deadly force.
Or open season on your father or grandfather, uncle, next door neighbor. All old 70 or more and God Forbid any one of them refused to sign their ticket.

Today we find out a settlement of $1,000,000 was awarded to the family of a man shot in 20-21 that was having an “episode”. OKCPD has a knife pulled on them, they tased him and that didn’t work, and as the guy turned his back at the right time and catching a bullet in the back my tax money now goes to support the family of said “episode” problem. The “episode” man lived on the streets, his family knew of his illness but they didn’t care enough until he was dead. What BS this is.

Now on the other hand Mr Asian community cancer patient getting slammed is a bit different in my book. Should he have kept his finger off the officer, yes but dang that slab was vicious. I don’t understand where the finger poke equals a possible death sentence. I wasn’t there but I don’t think the guy has Lopan powers with his finger.

I wouldn't be surprised if this ends up being a Federal civil rights violation and the cop loses his qualified immunity. If the US DOJ gets involved the officer will probably be toast without butter, and without butter he won't like having .....well you know.
