Yes, but there is clearly a language barrier. Translators are available. There may also be a cultural issue. Calling for another officer, probably a supervisor, and waiting the few minutes for that other officer to arrive would have been very good.As much as an officer may or may not be in the wrong, if people would just obey their instructions, much of this police brutality would go away. Deal with it in court or whatever means you can afterwards. If a cop wrongfully violates your rights or betrays his oath, he should get the piss sued out of him.
