OKC Steel Challenge

When is someone going to set up a monthly Steel Challenge match in the OKC area? Anything in the works?

Aren't they starting to do this at OKCGC?

They did a trial match last fall and said regular matches would start this Spring but nothing has been announced yet.

The RO for my squad on Saturday said that the steel has been recently aquired for steel challenge and that hopefully they will be good to go on this soon.

The steel was finished in the fall. Chris setup a match that about 20 of us shot. We are supposed to start seeing them scheduled after the land run and a few other big spring things at the club. If I were a bettin man, I would say that it will be the 3rd Saturday, every other month opposite ICORE.

I think we should have a shotgun class in that too!

GREAT IDEA!!!

I have heard of other clubs having a rimfire rifle division as well. That would make the Steel Challenge a lot more fun if I could bring 3 guns.

Heck while we are at it maybe we could actually run around a little and shoot all 3 guns on the same stage?

Rimfire carbine in Steel Challenge ROCKS!!! USSA added that division for the first time yesterday and it was awesome... I'm looking forward to me of this kind of event locally for sure!
