A couple of months ago, we sold the FIL's '72 Ranchero GT with a 429CJ, functional hood scoop, and factory dash tach that had been in a barn since 1994. I was the last person to drive it (in 1994) before we put it in the barn, put it on blocks, and put mice killer in the engine bay. Was originally brownish mustard with an orange stripe on the side. FIL decided he wanted it to be red. Couldn't talk him out of it.

Would've liked to have kept it, but I don't have the room --- or time that it would deserve.

Man, I so wish I had seen it for sale, though I would prefer a El Camino (lots of memories of another one is why). I keep trying to talk my neighbor into selling his, even though its black and pink.

Looking good, $160 for a new set of headlight assemblies on Amazon, it will take 20y off the age of the truck lol.
