First vehicle that I ever drove was my grandparents' '79 F250. Probably more rust than good metal left after a rough life on their farm in Nothern MO, but it still runs and drives.

Does this 73 pickup count? Mine had the black stripe. 351 Cleveland I rebuilt and put a 4 Bbl on.
This is the same nasty babypoop green color. Light Green Gold.
Do you know a doe deer fits right into that grill? Especially at 65 MPH.

A couple of months ago, we sold the FIL's '72 Ranchero GT with a 429CJ, functional hood scoop, and factory dash tach that had been in a barn since 1994. I was the last person to drive it (in 1994) before we put it in the barn, put it on blocks, and put mice killer in the engine bay. Was originally brownish mustard with an orange stripe on the side. FIL decided he wanted it to be red. Couldn't talk him out of it.

Would've liked to have kept it, but I don't have the room --- or time that it would deserve.

Got my 1990 F150 revived!

It's probably in better shape in every way except cosmetic since I've owned it.

Full tune up, transmission fluid change, new front brakes, flushed brake fluid, new valve cover gaskets, all 8 cylinders firing and fueling, fixed the power windows and heater. I don't think there's anything functional that's not working, unless it's the rear ABS - in which case it's never functioned as long as I've owned it. Even the original radio works.

Got a couple things left, changing fluids and cleaning, but I think I'll start driving it some.

Yeah, I’m a horrible person like that. But in my defense, it literally started raining as I was putting the last parts on. I’ll try and get a couple pics tomorrow or this weekend.
