you have to hit Bev's at the right time; namely ~ 1:20 am on the weekend riiiiight before the last call crowd from groovy's hits.
any time else and it's a toss up. go right before a big after club rush and they will be on their game. go during the *height* of that rush tho.....and be ready for anything lol.
i've tried going during the day and it's just not the same.
Been there many, many times. Cried when they closed.

Not anymore. The one one NW 12th moved to down south of the Walmart along the service road about 10 years ago (and changed to fast casual) and it closed a few years ago.
Looks like Caper's is closed now too.
