I also remember going to the rotating restaurant at the top of the Founder's Tower -- was that the Eagle's Nest? I remember it being a very fancy place.
It was fancy, at least for Oklahoma, and rather expensive. I spent $150 on dinner for four there back in '97 or so, which is still the most expensive meal I've ever bought.

There used to be a really good BBQ joint (called, ironically, the BBQ Joint) on SE 15th east of Eastern. It was just a little block building in the middle of a little gravel lot, but it had some great BBQ--and it wasn't uncommon to see some expensive vehicles parked on that gravel. The son tried to make a go of it after the old man died, but he just wasn't as good of a judge of meat. The building is still there on Google Street View, but it looks kind of sad now...

Leo Smith has been deceased for a few years and I believe there's only one left....I can't remember the street names.

Over by Momma E's....West of Spring Lake/Spring Lake Campus. My wife loves their strawberry/banana cake.

When the had a store at or around. Broadway and 4th or 6th..East of Broadway..go under the bridge, on left hand/North side of road...LOVED..LOVED..LOVED their collard greens..OMG!!! It was in the news a few years ago..that store closed because of taxes
