Does anyone have an idea about how old these primers are? I'm not sure I want to use them or not. I may load 10 rds. of each to try them out. Between both boxes there are 1100 primers.
I'm guessing 60-70's by the kleanbore name. put some in some brass and see if sounds good.
They might have collectors value
US made primers don't get old. Syrian......OTOH.....
They look 60s. They are probably good to go unless they've been outside uncovered over the years.
Odds are they will function just fine. You could prime a few rounds of brass and then snap them. If they all work, good to go.
They don’t date them anywhere on the box? I would guess 50’s to 60’s
Heck I’d grab the boxes when your done those look good for they’re age.
I'm shooting some that old and haven't had a misfire yet. At today's prices no-way I'd toss them.
load a few and shoot em!
